The staff

The lighting in the bathrooms is poor and to use the sink you need to have the door closed. If you just quickly want to wash your hands, you have to walk in and close the door do use the sink. It was difficult for my wife to put in her contacts because

The hotel and staff are very welcoming with help at the door with your bags. There is a ramp for wheelchair users as well. The whole hotel is very clean and quiet. The rooms are excellent and comfortable. The swimming pool is large enough to swim in and it has a jacuzzi at one end. A small gym is also in the same area. The evening meal in the restaurant was very tasty with plenty of choice. Everything for our stay was of a very high standard. All the staff are very capable and do everything to make your stay enjoyable. You will find it hard to find a better place to stay.

Breakfast options were kind of sad. We also really did not like having to wait at the front counter while housekeeping checked our room to make sure nothing was missing. This is the only hotel where that has ever happened and it's insulting.

Very comfortable beds/pillows, larger than usual rooms, nice size vanity. The breakfast each day was relaxing with plenty of choices. The staff was great. The only negative was one day a bad sewer smell in bathroom.

The bathroom is very small in some room type and we had to shower in the bathtub so this might not be easy for elderly.

For Thailand, the rooms are of great quality with a comfortable mattress.

The shower could be warmer, the pool needs an upgrade, and the gym is a bit sad. I would suggest adding a universal machine and eliminating half of the cardio equipment.

Everything but food

Foods were not up to the standard. Pad Thai was too sweet and even worst the PadThai noodle was too hard as it should have been soft. Rice berry had the smell of damp. In general, the foods were not that delicious.

The pool was smaller than expected and no sun lounges. This was the only flaw in an excellent hotel.

Huge hotel renovations during my stay, very loud construction noise and no prior warning

I had booked this hotel to have a few nice and relaxing days over Christmas. I arrived at the property on 23 December only to find that they had started a massive renovation of the pool, spa and gym areas with super loud construction noise. When I asked, the hotel confirmed that the renovation would continue all through Christmas until the end of my stay from 10:00 until 16:00 every day. I had not been informed about any of this at any time prior. Since it was clear that I would not be having the Christmas I had hoped for in this hotel I had to cancel my booking and scramble for a last minute reservation at a different hotel. It caused me a lot of stress and I am really upset with the hotel that they acted this way and gave no advance warning that they were going to do the renovations during my stay.

Staff had me park out front instead nearby garage. Staff attentive, anticipated our needs. Efficient front desk, checkout a breeze.

Great mattress and AC. A good home base to explore udon Thani.

Pool and gym are quite poor considering the price and level. Would have been better to just eliminate them as they are an obvious negative.

You are going to want to book a mid level hotel in udon thani but I think you should spend a couple of extra bucks and treat yourself to Deprincess. It was LUXURY. The bed and bedding was incredibly soft. I paid extra for a bathtub with no regrets. There were bathbombs for sale at reception. Every detail was carefully planned and I am so grateful for the kindness of the front desk staff. Breakfast buffet was huge with many options. Everything was clean and delicious and amazing. 10/10 worth every penny. I had been traveling for many months and this restored and renewed me in a way other hotels were not able to.

The staff was very friendly and the room was nice and clean.

The location was good but not the best (had to walk around 10 min to reach a shopping mall/restaurants). Also the pool was under renovation I can't be used this month

Bathtub perfect! spacious room! modern interior design and lighting!A piece of cake was provided a complementary after telling the hotel it was my birthday which was much appreciated.

Sofa was clean but still can see some stains. Perhaps the materials were a bit difficult to clean? Breakfast could have been included in the rate paid.
